Osteoporosis

La osteoporosis es una enfermedad de los huesos que se produce cuando las células óseas que se reabsorben son más numerosas que las que se depositan. Este desequilibrio ocasiona la pérdida progresiva de densidad ósea y el adelgazamiento del tejido óseo. Los huesos con osteoporosis son más porosos y, por lo tanto, más propensos a las fracturas.Osteoporosis
