Hernia hiatal
La hernia hiatal se presenta cuando parte del estómago sobresale por el pecho a través de la lámina muscular llamada diafragma; puede ser el resultado del debilitamiento de los tejidos circundantes y puede agravarse debido a la obesidad o al hábito de fumar.
