Estenosis carotídea; radiografía de la arteria izquierda
El arteriograma carotídeo es un estudio de rayos X que sirve para determinar si existe una estrechez u otra anomalía en la arteria carótida, que es la arteria principal que va al cerebro. Este es un angiograma de la arteria carótida común izquierda (vista lateral, frontal y anterior) que muestra una estrechez severa (estenosis) de la arteria carótida interna justo más allá de la división de la arteria carótida común hacia las ramas internas y externas.
