Ultrasonido abdominal

El ultrasonido abdominal es una técnica de barrido que se utiliza para obtener imágenes del interior del abdomen. Al igual que los rayos X, la IRM y la TC, juega un papel como herramienta para el diagnóstico. Los barridos de ultrasonido emplean ondas sonoras de alta frecuencia para producir una imagen sin que la persona sea expuesta a la radiación.
