Cultivo de una lesión viral

El cultivo de una lesión viral se hace para confirmar la presencia del virus del herpes simple en una lesión de piel. Para tomar la muestra se raspa la lesión de la piel infectada o se aspira líquido de ésta. Los resultados están disponibles de 16 horas a 7 días después que se recibió la muestra, dependiendo del método de cultivo que se utilizó.Cultivo de una lesión viral
