Fagocitosis

Los macrófagos son células barredoras que pueden ingerir tejidos muertos y células foráneas. Los macrófagos forman tentáculos llamados seudópodos para rodear al invasor. Una vez dentro del macrófago, el invasor es bloqueado y luego digerido y destruido por una bolsa de sustancias químicas digestivas o enzimas.
