Úvea
Definición
Es la capa media del ojo debajo de la parte blanca de éste (la esclerótica) y consta del iris, el cuerpo ciliar y la coroides. Estas estructuras controlan muchas de las funciones del ojo, como adaptarse a los diferentes niveles de luz o a las diferentes distancias de los objetos. La inflamación de una o más de estas estructuras se denomina uveítis.
