Definición

Es un espasmo rápido (contracción) de los músculos en el paladar.

Causas

El mioclono palatino generalmente se debe a daño (lesiones) en las vías nerviosas cerebrales. Las afecciones que pueden llevar al mioclono palatino incluyen la esclerosis múltiple.
