Inflamación retroperitoneal

Definición

Es una hinchazón que ocurre en el espacio retroperitoneal.

Este espacio se encuentra al frente de la región lumbar y por detrás del revestimiento abdominal (peritoneo). Los órganos que se encuentran en este espacio abarcan el páncreas, el bazo y los riñones.
