Biopsia de glándula salival
Cuando se detectan protuberancias anormales o para realizar la prueba del síndrome de Sjögren, se extrae una pequeña porción de glándula salival para realizar una biopsia con aguja. La aguja extrae una pequeña muestra de tejido glandular, el cual es enviado al laboratorio para ser analizado.
