Iluminación de lámpara de Wood

La lámpara de Wood emite luz ultravioleta y puede ser una herramienta de diagnóstico para determinar si una persona tiene una infección micótica o bacteriana en la piel o el cuero cabelludo. Si hay una infección en el área iluminada por la lámpara Wood esa zona se verá fluorescente.
