Inyección de MIBG
Para realizar una gammagrafía con yodo-131-metayodobenzilguanidina (MIBG) se inyecta el radioisótopo MIBG en la vena y luego se escanea el abdomen. El escáner detecta la radiación del radioisótopo para poder localizar o confirmar la presencia del feocromocitoma, que es un tumor de glándula suprarrenal.
