Fagocitosis

Las sustancias químicas también atraen glóbulos blancos que se "comen" los microorganismos y células muertas o dañadas. El proceso mediante el cual estos glóbulos blancos rodean, engullen y destruyen sustancias extrañas es llamado fagocitosis, y las células en su conjunto son llamadas fagocitos.
