Cartílago cricoides
El cartílago cricoides o manzana de Adán es la porción de la garganta que se utiliza para insertar una aguja hueca con el fin de asistir a la respiración cuando otros recursos han fallado. Este procedimiento se conoce también con el nombre de punción de emergencia del conducto de aire o cricotirotomía.
