Inyección de antígeno

La lepra es causada por el organismo Mycobacterium leprae. La prueba de la lepra consiste en inyectar un antígeno justo por debajo de la piel para determinar si el cuerpo tiene la infección de la lepra o la ha tenido recientemente. El sitio se marca y se examina a los 3 y a los 28 días para ver si hay una reacción.
