Lupus discoide en el rostro

La erupción del lupus se presenta en forma redondeada o de disco (discoide) y se caracteriza por parches rojos y elevados con escamas adheridas. Los poros de la piel (folículos) pueden obstruirse y las lesiones más antiguas dejan cicatrices. Aproximadamente el 90% de las personas con lupus discoide sólo tiene compromiso de la piel, comparado con el compromiso más generalizado que se presenta en el lupus eritematoso sistémico (LES).Lupus discoide en el rostro
