Trichinella spiralis en el músculo humano
Este es el parásito Trichinella spiralis en el tejido muscular humano que se trasmite al consumir carnes no cocidas, especialmente la de cerdo. Los quistes eclosionan en los intestinos y producen un gran número de larvas que migran hacia los tejidos musculares. Estos quistes pueden causar dolor muscular e inflamación en la cara y alrededor de los ojos del individuo afectado.
