Acné quístico en el rostro
La localización más común del acné es en la cara. Aquí se pueden ver pústulas rojas (eritematosas), de 4 a 6 milímetros, algunas con cicatrices unidas y canales fistulosos (pasajes conectados). El acné severo puede tener un profundo impacto psicológico y puede causar cicatrices. Actualmente existen tratamientos efectivos disponibles para este tipo de acné.
