Escorbuto; pelo ensortijado
El escorbuto es una enfermedad nutricional causada por la deficiencia de vitamina C, que puede manifestarse por sangrado puntiforme alrededor de los folículos pilosos, vellos ensortijados, como se aprecia en esta fotografía, y sangrado de las encías. Esta es una enfermedad rara en los Estados Unidos.
