Las llagas ulcerosas (úlceras aftosas) son muy comunes. Típicamente, son úlceras superficiales con una base de color blanco o amarillo blancuzco rodeada por un borde rojizo. Esta úlcera aftosa está localizada delante y debajo de los dientes inferiores de un individuo con SIDA.
