La lámpara de Wood es un tipo de iluminación que utiliza luz ultravioleta de onda larga. Cuando se ve un área del cuero cabelludo infectada con tiña (un tipo de hongo) bajo la lámpara de Wood, el hongo puede brillar (fluorescente).
