Válvula pulmonar ausente

Es una rara anomalía en la cual falta la válvula pulmonar o no está bien formada. Esta válvula permite que la sangre desoxigenada viaje del corazón a los pulmones. Cuando falta la válvula pulmonar, las ramificaciones de las arterias pulmonares se agrandan mucho y ejercen presión sobre las vías aéreas en el pulmón, causando problemas respiratorios.
