Colitis ulcerativa
La colitis ulcerativa se cataloga de acuerdo a su localización:
- La proctitis involucra solo el recto
- La proctosigmoiditis afecta el recto y el colon sigmoide
- La colitis izquierda comprende todo el lado izquierdo del intestino grueso
- La pancolitis inflama todo el colon
