La aterosclerosis de las extremidades es una enfermedad de los vasos sanguíneos periféricos que se caracteriza por el estrechamiento y endurecimiento de las arterias que surten las piernas y los pies. El estrechamiento de las arterias causa una disminución en el flujo sanguíneo.
