Aneurisma aórtico

El aneurisma aórtico abdominal consiste en una dilatación o distensión de la aorta. Existen varias causas del aneurisma aórtico abdominal, pero la más común proviene de la enfermedad aterosclerótica. A medida que la aorta se dilata progresivamente con el tiempo, existe una mayor posibilidad de ruptura.
