Bomba de insulina

Se inserta el catéter ubicado en el extremo de la bomba de insulina a través de una aguja, dentro de la grasa abdominal de una persona con diabetes. Se introducen las instrucciones acerca de las dosis en el pequeño computador de la bomba y luego se inyecta la cantidad apropiada de insulina en el cuerpo de forma calculada y controlada.
