Síndrome de la rubéola
El síndrome de la rubéola o rubéola congénita se refiere a un grupo de anomalías físicas que el bebé manifiesta como resultado de la infección materna y posterior infección fetal con el virus de la rubéola. Este síndrome se caracteriza porque el bebé presenta erupción y peso bajo al nacer, cabeza pequeña, anomalías cardíacas, problemas visuales y fontanelas protuberantes.
