Toxoplasmosis congénita
La infección humana con el protozoo Toxoplasma gondii se produce por ingerir carne cruda o tierra contaminadas, o por falta de cuidado al manipular el contenido de una caja para excrementos de gato infectada. Las mujeres embarazadas infectadas pueden transmitir la infección al feto (toxoplasmosis congénita).
