Microfotografía del ácaro de la escabiosis

Esta es una fotomicrografía del ácaro de la sarna. Este animal hace túneles bajo la piel, depositando en ella tanto huevos como heces. La infestación por sarna causa una picazón (prurito) intensa que lleva al rascado y a daños en la piel (excoriaciones). Si no se la trata, la infestación puede durar por años, por lo que se la llama "picazón de los siete años".Microfotografía del ácaro de la escabiosis
