Síndrome del túnel carpiano
El síndrome del túnel carpiano se está identificando con más frecuencia y es posible que esté presentándose más a menudo. Dicha condición puede ser el resultado de movimientos repetitivos y del uso de ciertos equipos tales como el tablero del computador. Este síndrome afecta el nervio mediano, el cual es el nervio que provee la sensación y el movimiento al pulgar y a la parte de la mano que está del lado del pulgar.
