La vasectomía es un procedimiento simple que es muy efectivo para la prevención del embarazo. Por lo general, los hombres no presentan efectos secundarios de la vasectomía, ni experimentan ningún cambio en el desempeño o en la función sexual. Algunos hombres sentirán dolor por unos cuantos días, pero éste se puede aliviar por medio de analgésicos y una compresa de hielo.
