Iris
Definición
Es la parte coloreada del ojo localizada entre la córnea y el cristalino. Su abertura redonda y central (la pupila) se encoge y se dilata para controlar la entrada de luz al ojo, lo cual le permite ver bien en diferentes condiciones de iluminación.
La inflamación del iris se denomina iritis.
